Oracle Profitability Manager - Version 4.5 to 4.5.39 [Release 4.5]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Performance Analyzer (PA) 4.5.39, an instrument table-only Allocation that performs a calculation is not rounding values like 0.855 and 0.555 correctly when an accrual macro is used and "Post to Ledger" is not selected.  0.855 and 0.555 are being truncated to 0.85 and 0.55 respectively.  These values should be rounded to 0.86 and 0.56.

Example of Allocation ID setup:

Filter On: Current Gross Book Balance
*
Field: Current Gross Rate
/
100
*
Macro: Accr 30/360

Debit: Risk Premium
Post to Ledger is not selected.

Result example with Post to Ledger NOT selected:

CUR_BOOK_BAL  CUR_GROSS_RATE  RISK_PREMIUM  Calculated Value
1500          0.6935          0.85          0.855
1680          0.6935          0.96          0.9576
Result example with Post to Ledger selected:

CUR_BOOK_BAL  CUR_GROSS_RATE  RISK_PREMIUM  Calculated Value
1500          0.6935          0.86          0.855
1680          0.6935          0.96          0.9576

When "Post to Ledger" is not selected, 0.855 is rounded down incorrectly to 0.85.

The issue does not occur if "Post to Ledger" is selected or if the Accrual Basis macro is not used in the calculation.
