Last updated on JUNE 01, 2023

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

We are running Enforce Capacity Constraints (ECC) and optimized plan.We are using Fixed Lot Multiplier (FLM) and Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for the components.ASCP plan is suggesting planned orders in excess, e.g. Planned Orders are getting generated for the components, even though there is sufficient onhand/purchase order present for that component.

Thus we are not able to release these planned orders and send the schedules to the suppliers as it will lead to excess inventory.
