Discrepancies Reopening When Comparing Dates In RDC Onsite
(Doc ID 741488.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 30, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Clinical Remote Data Capture Option - Version 4.5.3 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
A validation procedure comparing the visit date reopens immediately once the discrepancy was
resolved in on-site. The data from the VALIDATION_REPORTED_VALUES table show that one instance the Visit date has a 2 digit year and the next instance the visit date has a 4 digit year.
The validation procedures that we have seen this situations contain the following in the
expression: “rxc_date.convert(E.EXTL_DATA_D) !=VISIT_DATE”.
The reopening of discrepancies appears to occur for on-line and batch validation execution.
Steps To Reproduce:
- Create an external sample date discrepancy where a validation procedure exists for that data.
- Resolve it and save it.
- IF the does not create it then create the discrepancy in either RDC PDF/classic or OC discrepancy management then from on-site, resolve the discrepancy.
