Purpose

The Oracle Communications Policy Services Install and Administration Guide outlines the steps required to install the required components for the product. There is a documented, but easy to overlook,  restriction on the iPlanet Directory Server installation parameters. The parameter is used to specify the directory password.   

Incorrectly filling in this value leads to a successful install, but inability to log in to the Policy Services administration web pages after installation.
