Information in this document applies to any platform.
This problem can occur on any platform.

If an attachment is made on an Asset record and the 'WO' and 'Print' indicators are selected, when
a Work order is created from the Asset, the Attachment is copied over to the Work Order record.
Then if the 'Update from Benchmark' action is selected and the options to retain Header Data and
Asset Data are selected, the existing attachment is deleted from the Attachments view.

Steps to Reproduce

Open an existing Asset record.
Add an attachment - for example a Specification. Select the 'WO' and 'Print' indicators.
Select the 'Create Work Order' action on the Asset Header.
Access the Work Order that was created.
Select the Attachments view at the Task level.
Confirm that the Attachment was copied over from the Asset
Select the 'Update from Benchmark' action on the Work Order Header
Select a Benchmark from the LOV and choose to retain 'All Header Data' and 'Asset Data'
Once the Work Order is updated, check the Task Attachments View. The Attachment has been deleted.
