Created And Last Update Fields Not Populated In Responsibility View (Doc ID 751542.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

If you add a new responsibility to someone's user profile, the created_date, created_by,
last_update_date and last_update_user fields are not populated. Similarly, if you put an end date
into an existing responsibility, the last_update_date and last_update_user fields are not populated.

The problem occurs if the responsibility is added via the User Profile module as follows:

Pull up a User Profile record
Select the Responsibility view
Select a Responsibility from the LOV and enter a start date

If the the User is added to the responsibility via the Responsibility module (using the Assigned
Users view) this problem does not occur. The fields referenced above are correctly populated.
The same applies when adding an END DATE. If the end date is populated via the responsibility
module, the fields are updated. If the end date is added via the User Profile module, the fields
are NOT updated.
