What is "System" Source in the Abnormal Device Summary (Doc ID 752273.1)

Goal

There is a column on the Abnormal Device Summary with a heading of "SOURCE".  The user who changes the device status from nominal to abnormal is identified in this column.  For some entries, the source is shown as "system".  What generates an entry of this type in the abnormal device summary?
