Symptoms

Oracle AERS has been set to utilize Java Plugin 1.4 or 1.5 rather than Jinitiator as a workaround to the issues in <Note 443811.1>  for dual processor client machines.

Subsequently Formsweb.cfg has been updated to use Java Plugin instead of Jinitiator
This can result in the following error when leaving AERS Forms:

HTTP-400

Changes

When leaving AERS Forms using Jinitiator 1.3.1.22, the servlet window is closed normally using URL:

http://host:port/opa46/close.html

However when using Java Plugin 1.4.2.06 or 1.5.0.16, the URL called is:

http://host:port/../opa46/close.html

Thus resulting in a HTTP-400 error on the client when leaving AERS forms.
