dm_taxware For 64-bit Linux Is 32-bit (Cannot Start 'dm_taxware') (Doc ID 754047.1)

Symptoms

Cannot start dm_taxware.

dm_taxware.log shows the following error:

dm_taxware started at: Thu Nov 13 13:56:21 EST 2008
dm_taxware: error while loading shared libraries: libtaxcommono.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

The "dm_taxware" executable for BRM 7.3.1 64-bit Linux is a 32-bit application, however libtaxcommonon.so is a 64-bit version.

./libtaxcommono.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), not stripped

Steps To Reproduce

1) Install dm_taxware for BRM 7.3.1 Linux x86-64
2) Install 64-bit Taxware Sale & Use Tax 3.5.10 (ThirdParty application)
3) Copy the following shared libraries to $PIN_HOME/lib
• libsalesusetax.so
• libstep.so
• libverazip.so
• libtaxcommono.so
4) Start dm_taxware
5) Check dm_taxware.log, it shows the following error.

dm_taxware: error while loading shared libraries: libtaxcommono.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
