Is It Possible To Add New Statuses Of The Equipment? (Doc ID 755694.1)

Goal

Is it possible to add the new statuses of the equipment?
For example, AVAILABILITY_STATUS field of the equipment allows only the following values.
I = Installed
R = Repair & Return
S = Spare
W = Working

Is it possible to add the additional statuses like U - Unterminated, M - Maintenance etc.,
