Purpose

 This document provides SQL scripts for deleting read notifications by all read notifications, a specific user's read notifications, or notifications received in a specific time frame.  In addition to clearing out notifications, these scripts can provide relief from performance symptoms related to excessive undeleted notifications.  These can include, but are not limited to:

1) User cannot open the main page after logging into the Web Client (System hangs or displays blank page or the hour glass keeps running)

2) User cannot open Notification Inbox (System hangs or displays blank page or the hour glass keeps running)

3) Timeout exception when logging into Web Client

Scope

 These SQL scripts are intended to be run by the Agile schema owner and require an understanding of SQL, specifically the SQL DELETE command.
