Symptoms

In Profitability Manager (PFT) 11i, when running a series of Mapping Rule Rule Sets, submitting one right after another in parallel, all of the Rule Sets end with a warning status.  The following errors appear in the View Log for one of the Mapping Rules in the first Rule Set:

Failure during child login attempt: Could not connect with GWYUID
Failure during child login attempt: Could not connect with GWYUID
Failure during child login attempt: Could not connect with GWYUID
[18000] User requested termination

Failure during child login attempt: Could not connect with GWYUID
[18003] User requested termination
Failure during child login attempt: Could not connect with GWYUID

All subsequent Mapping Rules in the Rule Sets contain only the User requested termination errors:

[22693] User requested termination
[22695] User requested termination
[22696] User requested termination
[22697] User requested termination
[22698] User requested termination

All of the Rule Sets finish with a warning and most Mapping Rule results are not generated.

In the Tuning Options, for Mapping Rules, Data Slicing is turned off and the "Number of Processes" setting for multiprocessing is greater than 1.
