During Upgrade, Pin_deploy replace Custom Profile Fails (Doc ID 759631.1)

Symptoms

After completing the upgrade to BRM 7.3.1 from previous versions( 6.5 , 6.7), the pin_deploy utility fails when executing in replace mode.

The utility is failing for a custom class that was defined prior to the upgrade.

The error in dm_oracle.pinlog file shows:

sdo_proces_one_desc: action not "add" for nonexistent type, name "/au_profile/abc"


Steps To Reproduce:

pin_deploy replace <custom.podl>

where <custom.podl> is the custom class definition.
