Creating A Freezable Adjustment Through Java Then Be Able To Freeze It Later ETM (Doc ID 779718.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 24, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Public Sector Revenue Management - Version 2.1.5 to 2.1.5 [Release 2.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The Base Package for ETM does not support the creation of a Freezable Adjustment through Java.

Need to be able to create an Adjustment (and other components related to it like Financial Transactions) that is in the Freezable state and later be able to Freeze the said Adjustment. The problem is when creating an Adjustment through the Adjustment_DTO, no Financial Transaction is created since the Adjustment was not generated and there are no methods that facilitate the generation of an Adjustment. There are also no methods that facilitate the freezing of an existing Adjustment through Java. A Java enablement of the Base Programs that handle the Creation and Maintenance of Adjustments is needed for to create the functionality that is needed.

Steps To Reproduce:
A custom Java program that creates a Freezable Adjustment through the Adjustment_DTO. When accessing the Adjustment in Oracle Enterprise Taxation Management, an error message is raised by the Base that says that there is no Financial Transaction related to the Adjustment.
