Unable to Start ASAP servers (Doc ID 780665.1)

Unable to start ASAP servers. Following messages appeared when we tried to start ASAP:

$ start_asap_sys
Enter Control Database Password:
Starting Master Control Server CTRLPROD...
Successful Startup of Master Control CTRLPROD
ctrlPROD: exec_appl RPC Failed to CTRLPROD

Following error messages were shown in CTRL diag:
