Default Date Entered in Configuration Not Displayed Properly in RPAS Domain (Doc ID 786561.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 17, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server - Version 13.0.1 to 13.0.4.1 [Release 13.0]
Oracle Retail Merchandise Financial Planning - Version 13.0.1 to 13.0.4 [Release 13.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After setting the default value of an ambig/date type measure to 20010101000000000 in the base COST configuration in Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), that value appears as '10/3/9382' in the domain after a workbook is built.  The desired display for this saved configuration entry is '01/01/2001'.

It appears that in version 13, users are able to enter and save default date values formatted as above, but those values are not converted appropriately to recognized dates in the workbooks.
