Error Saving Changes to Connection Design's CLR/DLR Design Lines - "EQUIPMENT row for Equipment Id [VALUE] does not exist in the database." (Doc ID 787546.1)

Symptoms

Attempting to save a new issue for changes made to the CLR/DLR Design lines of a Connection Design displays an error indicating the equipment row for an equipment ID does not exist in the database. Acknowledging the error throws a "Save Processing Failed" error.  Below are the errors in the order they are received.


 

Recreation Steps

1. Inventory Management

2. Connection Design

3. Query for and open Connection Design

4. Click CLR/DLR Design

5. Make desired changes

6. Click Save > Save New Issue and a "EQUIPMENT row for Equipment Id [NUMBER] does not exist in the database" error message is displayed.

7. Click OK and a "Save Processing Failed" error message is displayed.

 

Business Impact

Unable to save changes to CLR/DLR Design lines for a Connection Design.
