MDM Rules Language Validations are not Invoked when Importing Usage via the Adapter (Doc ID 790556.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 07, 2014

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management - Version: 04.53
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

When importing MDM usage via the Adapter, the MDM Validation calling a Rate Schedule is not run
for the usage. If the Rules Language Validation is expected to edit the usage, this behavior can be validated by checking if the "Rules Language Edited" flag = No for the cut.

It is expected that when the usage is imported via the Adapter that the rate schedule validation
is invoked.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Load usage data via the Adapter into MDM
  2. Check usage, see if "Rules Language Edited" flag = Yes or No
  3. Delete usage, then import via GUI, you will see that the Edited flag =Yes
