Goal
This document provides an explanation of the options to the script ces_setup.ces. This is a key script used in setting up an NMS environment. It handles
- Creating the underlying database objects (tables, views, triggers etc) required for running the NMS application.
- Population of the tables with the configuration data.
- Automatically running and recording migrations that do not require manual migration effort. (In NMS v1.12 and newer additional information on migration can be found in Appendix A of the NMS Installation Guide)
- Listing migrations that do require manual effort.
Additional information on ces_setup.ces can be found in the NMS Configuration Guide for NMS v1.9 and newer releases.
