CCB V2.2.0 Df1558 S2 -Batch Jobs do not Create Logs Properly when Threadpoolwrk is used (Doc ID 796575.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 29, 2021

Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Threadpoolworker log is common for all batch jobs, why is it writing batch specific logs to
threadpoolworker? It logs SQL related information to threadpoolworker log. Suppose if we run
hundred jobs over a period of time why do we need to look into threadpool worker log which has 100
job's logs in single threadpoolworker log? Batch jobs logs should be in batch job thread logs and
any thread crash information should be in threadpool worker log.

Missing information in batch logs and additional information we are seeing in threadpoolworker
log. Still it is not logging the complete information related to the error in log files. I am
re-uploading the log files that were uploaded on 02/25/09 please analyze them.

From the word document you can see the BRT, ERROR- CIPZCTJN - system error. Please see logs for
more details.

I can see the following message in threadpoolworker log, but not in POSTROUT batch job logs:

- 18:21:23,344 [CobolThread 1] ERROR (support.cobol.CobolToJavaGateway) A system error occurred
calling method invoke on class
com.splwg.shared.common.LoggedException: Error invoking method invoke
