Person Alternate Name Not Displaying In Person Info When Phone Number Exists In CCB (Doc ID 799165.1)

Symptoms

At the top of some Customer Care and billing (CCB) screens, Person Information is displayed showing a concatenation of the currently loaded Person's details. When using the base program CIPCPEIX to format and display this Person Information, if an Alternate Representation for that person exists, the system will display it in the format AAA (BBB), where AAA is the Primary name and BBB is the Alternate name. This only occurs, however, if no phone number exists for the Person - once a phone number is added for the Person, the Alternate name is no longer displayed as the phone number is displayed instead.

This situation can be seen if a Person is added to the system, where an Alternate Representation exists, but no phone number is added. It can be observed that the Alternate Representation appears at the top of the screen and in the Dashboard appended to the primary name. Once a phone number is added for that person, however, it can be observed that at the top of the screen and in the Dashboard the Alternate Name is no longer appended to the Primary Name as it has been replaced by the phone number.
