Question on Time Based Rotation Mechanism in Radius Manager (Doc ID 800365.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 08, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.3.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On all versions of Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), are the following requirements possible in Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) Manager?

1. With the following RADIUS Call Data Record (CDR) file pattern in mod_cdr:

cdr_test_%b_%d_%y_%H_%N.log

The current behavior is:

Radius will rotate the file whenever the hour changes in Unix time AND as soon as next RADIUS request comes in.

The expected/desired behavior is:

When the hour changes in Unix time, RADIUS should rotate/generate a new CDR file (ie. do not wait for next request to come).

2. Is it possible to set the CDR file pattern to rotate file for each 10 min (or any X minutes)?
