This problem can occur on any platform.
-- Problem Statement:
Radius manager is unable to accept data more than 4GB from the network. If the user usage is lets say for more than 4 hrs and the download is more than 4GB then radius will log CDR with usage of 4294967295 only and the rest goes unrated and this results in revenue loss.
1. Create a packet with the following values.
Acct-Input-Octets = 214748364800
Acct-Output-Octets = 214748364800
2. send a packet to Radius manager using rad_tester simulator as follows.
rad_tester -h <ip address> -p 1812 -a 1813 -s testing123 -O 30 -f <sample file>
3. It logs CDR with value 4294967295(for Acct-Input-Octets), 4294967295 (Acct-Output-Octets)
