"ORA-24333: Zero Iteration Count" Occurs When Running DEALPRG Batch (Doc ID 815735.1)

Symptoms

Running the DEALPRG batch is supposed to clear out DEAL_ACTUALS_ITEM_LOC and DEAL_ITEM_LOC_EXPLODE.  However, despite reporting a succesful completion, the batch is writing an error to the error log with "ORA-24333: zero iteration count" for both these tables.  The result is that these tables are not cleared and duplicate orders are pushed through to invoice matching for complex deals.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Set up a complex deal, move the vdate into the active date for the deal.
  2. Ensure the deal data is in DEALS_ITEM_LOC_EXPLODE.  Run batches if necessary.
  3. Set up an order and receive it.
  4. Run deals batches (including dealprg).
      a. After dealact, DEALS_ACTUALS_ITEM_LOC should be populated with data.
      b. When batches are finished, STAGE_COMPLEX_DEAL_HEAD/DETAIL is populated.
      c. DEALS_ACTUALS_ITEM_LOC should be empty, but it is not.  The above-mentioned error exists in $MMHOME/error directory for dealprg.
