Limits In Devices Associated To A Subscription Group Using Timos (Doc ID 819983.1)

Last updated on APRIL 28, 2014

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version: 7.3.1.0.0
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When associating several  /device/num objects to a subscription service, over a chain including  TIMOS DM, a PIN_ERR_STREAM_EOF error is returned.

Failure happens when we associating more than 681 devices and in CM pinlog a memory problem is shown.

The system is configured like: CM ---> DM_TIMOS ---> DM_ORACLE ---> DB

Removing dm_timos from the chain and using only the dm_oracle and cm, devices are created without problems.

The opcodes PCM_OP_DEVICE_CREATE to create a device and then PCM_OP_DEVICE_ASSOCIATE to associate it to an account's services are used.

Is there any memory limitation with TIMOS? How could we address such a limitation?
