Applies to:
Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.0.6 to 12.0.6 [Release 12]Information in this document applies to any platform.
FORM:MSCFNSCW.FMB - Planner Workbench
Symptoms
On 12.0.6 in Test:
and reproduced internally on 12.0.6 + CU5
PROBLEM
Users are using a 24x7 ATP enabled plan. After running a complete collection, users are running the global supply chain plan without the 24x7 ATP plan parameter enabled during the ASCP plan run. For any item the sales orders come in and show correctly after running data collections and the ASCP plan when reviewing the ASCP Planners Workbench - MSCFNSCW.
When they create another sales order for the same item and same organization the ATP scheduling process will automatically input this sales order to the ATP enabled plan. When they review the ASCP Planners workbench for this item, they see the new sales order as magenta (pink) colored line signaling that a change that has not been collected yet (It was input by the ATP scheduling process as per design - so far so good).
Now users run data collections to pick up this new sales order (ie the one that was pink and not previously collected in this manner). Then users run the ASCP plan but this time enable the 24x7 ATP plan parameter so that they don't disrupt the Order Entry / Scheduling processes. When the plan run finishes the sales order line still shows up as magenta/pink colored in the ASCP workbench. This signals it was put there by ATP scheduling and not picked up properly by the data collections run
EXPECTATION
Users expect the sales order line which was Magenta/Pink colored to no longer show this coloring
signal once data collections is run and the ATP enabled 24x7 plan is run
STEPS
1. Created ATP enabled ASCP plan and attached a schedule for an existing item with manual MDS entries.
2. Run the ATP enabled plan and see the appropriate supply/demand
3. Create a sales order for the item which will automatically insert the sales order into the ASCP plan when it's schedule
4. Review the ASCP workbench and verified the sales order line shows up and is colored Magenta/Pink (standard functionality for this type of plan)
5. Run DATA Collections
6. Run ATP enabled ASCP plan with 24x7 plan parameter enabled
7. Review the ASCP workbench and users still see the sales order line colored magenta/pink and it does not have complete order information.
