This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

This issue becomes evident when Oracle Legal Whitehill One Processes timeout, typically causing timeouts from user interfaces connecting to the Process Engine. (eg Microsoft Infopath and Sharepoint Services).  The Timeouts are marked by Errors similar to the following:
