Applies to:
Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 5.2.2 to 5.2.4 [Release 5.2]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
-- Problem Statement:
Users have discovered that ASAP is not closing CORBA sessions with PEM.
After performing some tests and having checked that Corba connection objects have been closed
correctly. When ASAP wants to connect on PEM, ASAP calls connect() method from JAVA interpreter class and when ASAP wants to disconnect it calls disconnect(). Both connect() and disconnect() have been called and Corba objects have been destroyed with success, calling the destroy() and shutdown() methods.
-- Steps To Reproduce:
It was noticed that while orders on Ericsson PEM are processed, with every new order it appears on a new connection but it seems that these connections are not closed when the order completes.
-- Business Impact:
High impact because under these circumstances the connection between ASAP and the network element is lost
