Search Field In Customer Center Is Not Case Sensitive

After adding email address as a searchable field in Customer Center.Can this be made non-case sensitive.
> Using SDK Configurator, add email field in search tab and map it to PIN_FLD_EMAIL_ADDR under PIN_FLD_NAME_INFO on /account.
> Build customer Center
> Run Customer Center
> Click on Search. Search tab opens
> Enter value in email field: email*
Retrieve records of having similar email address format. IN example of results are:
