The OCCAS log file and trace of the SIP messages on the network show that the ephemeral SIP ports are opened by OCCAS for sending responses. Such ports could not be configured in a firewall because they are not predictable. In addition a huge number of ports can cause the server to reach the maximum number of open file handles.
