EBS-Dm:Data Model Upgrade Is Failing ORA-20001 ORA-20002 ORA-01403 no data found PACKAGE BODY DATA_MODEL (Doc ID 839487.1)

Symptoms

On 7.2.0.2 in Production:
Customer is on Demantra 7.2.0.2 version integrated with EBS.11.5.10.2.
They modified data model, changed time bucket to day, and added new levels to hierarchy. When they tried to upgrade data model, it errored out.

The db_exception_logs show:

ORA-01403: no data found
ORA-01403: no data found

dynamic_ddl( 'BEGIN add_default_member('426,'); END;')


For adding levels in hierarchy, customer had leveraged existing E1 column

They have not deleted any column from staging table. And no column has been
modified.
E1 column which they are using, has not been used for other exisitng levels.
These are additional columns available in tables.
Moreover it will not be possible to choose same colum for two levels,
data model will not allow to process further.
