Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Taxation Management - Version: 2.2.0 and later   [Release: and later ]
Oracle Utilities SDK - Version: 2.2.0.6 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When upgrading from ETM 2.1.5 to ETM 2.2.0, and compiling cm java code developed on SDK 2.1.5
which calls the function getstateid().getstate(), the following compilation errors are generated:

ERROR:
------------
The method getstateid() is undefined for the type ApCheckRequest.
The method getstateid() is undefined for the type Person.
The method getstateid() is undefined for the type PersonAddressOverride.
The method getstateid() is undefined for the type Premise.

Previously in java, the code called the function getstateid().getstate(). This has been changed
and currently, the code on SDK 2.2 only compiles with getstate().

-- Steps To Reproduce:
1- Add cm java code to project.
2- Run Artifact generator.
3- Refresh project.
4- Go to CmEmarsCwOverpaymentRefundsBatch and error at line 962.
