Is It Possible To Use DELAYED_FAIL Functionality To Avoid Rollbacks? (Doc ID 843900.1)

Last updated on MAY 14, 2011

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version: 5.2.4 and later   [Release: 5.2 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Our requirement is that we need to call a single rollback CSDL ignoring all other rollback CSDL's/ASDL's if one single ASDL fails.

Can we do this in ASAP?

Suppose if we get an order to create a subscriber with some N number of services on the network.

If (N-1)th service fails then we do not want to rollback each and every service instead we will directly invoke a rollback CSDL to delete the subscriber in a single go, which will in turn deletes the corresponding configured services for that subscriber.

In this way we will save the time to rollback and hence performance will be improved.
