Purpose
How to change the temp directory that Agile PLM application server uses to extract temp files for its operations.
Agile uses " c:\windows\temp " directory as a temporary location to create the extract files whenever operations like ACS are performed.
agilepc9extract folder gets created everytime an ACS operation is performed as the tmp variable is set to this location by the default Weblogic startup script
Many areas of Agile PLM application use the system's default temp folder like /tmp as a scratch area for writing some files, like Reports, Import, Export, PDX attachments etc.,
As system's default temp folder like /tmp are limited in disk space, we recommend as a standard practice to change this default temp folder used by Weblogic to some other location like within the Agile home dir that is owned by the OS user that installed Weblogic and Agile PLM, so the weblogic-Agile process has all permissions to write to that folder.
