Optional Deals In A Subscription Group Cannot Be Purchased Separately (Doc ID 858436.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 15, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version:
This problem can occur on any platform.

Although deals have been configured in a subscription group in a plan with options, if the deals(optional) are purchased separately they will no longer be part of the subscription group.

Steps To Reproduce:-
1) Create a Plan with Option. Configure it as below:
        - Create a new subscription group
        - Set the "/service/broadband" as subscription and two more services ("/service/ip" & "/service/email") as member service
        - Check the optional deal box for two member services "/service/ip" & "/service/email". i.e. make these two services as optional. and keep the subscription service "/service/broadband" as mandatory.

2) Create an account with above plan and purchase only mandatory deals i.e. "/service/broadband" service.
3) Under the services tab, the 'Type of Service' under service status is set to 'Standalone' instead of 'Subscription'.
4) Then to purchase the other two optional deals click on 'Purchase -> Purchase Options -> Change Plan Option' and complete the deal purchase.
5) Now the 'Type of Service' under service status for all these 3 deals are set as 'Standalone' service type. But we expect that,  it should show Member for "/service/ip" & "/service/email" and Subscription for "/service/broadband" service.
