Forecast For A Single Item Does Not Show Up In Planners Workbench After ASCP Plan Run, Even Though Forecast Has Been Generated By Demand Planning Engine

Customer created a new item and used Demand planning to generate the forecast for the item. When the scenario was attached to the ASCP plan and run, the forecast generated did not show up in the ASCP workbench, i.e. it was not considered. On further analysis found that the table MSD_DP_SCN_ENTRIES_DENORM and View MSD_DP_ASCP_SCN_ENTRIES_V are not returning any data for that demand plan and item combination.
1. Navigate to Responsibility > Demand Planner
2. Run Demand planning. Find the forecast is generated and available in table MSD_DP_SCENARIO_ENTRIES.
3. Navigate to Responsibility > Advanced Supply Chain Planner.
4. Run the ASCP Plan.
5. Find that the forecast generated is not available in ASCP plan
