ReturnInfoParam, returnCSDLParam/returnGlobalParam/returnRollbackParam do not accept null Strings (Doc ID 865693.1)

Last updated on MARCH 11, 2013

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 5.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The API behaviour of the returnInfoParam/returnCSDLParam/returnGlobalParam/returnRollbackParam and generateError methods has changed. They no longer accept null for the value. Code workarounds are
in place in the JNEP code:

returnInfoParam(CMSConstants.SWTCH_PILOT_DN, objBCMSFeature.getStrPilotDN());

Changed to:

if(null == objBCMSFeature.getStrPilotDN())
{
returnInfoParam(CMSConstants.SWTCH_PILOT_DN, " ");
}
else
{
returnInfoParam(CMSConstants.SWTCH_PILOT_DN, objBCMSFeature.getStrPilotDN());
}
