Question # 1

How can a user disable the device whenever the method to change the NE password is evoked and then
enable it when the disconnect method is initialized. This needs to also include a check to determine
if the device is disabled before enabling it.

Also the devices are not being enabled when called by the portEnable method within disconnect()

finally {
try {
Diagnosis.diag(1, this, "portEnable(): enabling device, " + getDev
ice() + ".");
catch (Exception e) {
Diagnosis.diag(1, this, "portEnable(): Unable to enable device,"
+ getDevice() + ".");
} //close finally

The output is correct. portEnable(): enabling device, DMS100JDevice#111. But the device is still
disabled. Also an exception was not thrown.

Question # 2

If there is a way that a user can connect to a certain device. Disable it, to force consequent orders to
connect to the next device,  then enable the device when completed.
