Function To Identify The End Of File In A CDR

(Doc ID 882246.1)

Last updated on JUNE 22, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Offline Mediation Controller - Version 5.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

We are using Flexible Ascii Collection Cartridge, Record Processing EP Cartridge and ASCII
Distribution Cartridge.

While processing the input CDR, first it should generate a header and then after finishes the
entire CDR processing, it should generate a trailer. Thus the CDR output file should have one
header, then processed CDRs and then one trailer.

A single input CDR may be having 1000 records. So after processing the 1000th record, we need to
add a trailer to our output. But in our case, we dont know how many records will be coming in the
input CDR, its varying. Thus we find it difficult to put a condition to include trailer. So please
suggest an idea/function to identify the end of file in the input CDR so that we can include
trailer accordingly.
