Last updated on OCTOBER 04, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 11.5.9 and later

Goal

Why would plan output shows different date than is shown on the demand or supply in the ERP source system?

Example:
Plan start Date is 28-Aug-2009
We are using a 5 on / 2 off calendar in Org A, so the week ends on Friday
We are using a 7 day calendar in Org B where the week ends on Sunday
Entered the following demands for both orgs.

Entered sales order with a scheduled shipment date of Thu 08-Oct-2009
Entered a WIP job with Suggest Due Date of Wed 07-Oct-2009
Entered a Forecast in Weekly bucket for Mon 05-Oct-2009

Entered sales order with a scheduled shipment date of Thu 03-Dec-2009
Entered a WIP job with Suggest Due Date of Wed 02-DEC-2009
Entered a Forecast in Weekly bucket for Mon 30-Nov-2009

Run Data Collections and ASCP Plan

Reviewed output in Planner Workbench.

In Org A - 5 on / 2 off calendar:
All demands and supplies for October show the date of Friday 09-Oct-2009
All Demands for November/December show the date of Friday 11-Dec-2009

In Org B - 7 day calendar:
All demands and supplies for October show the date of  Sunday 11-Oct-2009
All Demands for November/December show the date of Sunday 13-Dec-2009
