Last updated on SEPTEMBER 07, 2009

Applies to:

Oracle Demantra Demand Management - Version: 7.2.0.2
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

1) The Demantra documentation states on section 56-9: 'Demantra computes a range of "normal"
values and counts the number of data points that lie outside that range.'

How does Demantra compute the range of "normal" values? Using N standard deviations?

2) If gross outlier processing is enabled (GrossRemove=true), what does the OutlierStdErr
parameter mean? Is it equal to the number of standard deviations?
