How to Convert Existing Sybase Forms and Reports to Oracle Format in InfoMaker (Doc ID 892693.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 15, 2019

Applies to:

Primavera Contract Management - Version 8.5 to 13.1 [Release 8.5 to 13]
All Platforms

When switching database platforms from Sybase to Oracle, it may be necessary to update the format and syntax of Reports and Forms so that they properly function in Contract Management.

Resolve errors seen during print preview within Contract Management 13.1 and prior, for example:

Select Error: SQLSTATE = 42000 ORA-00942: table or view does not exist . SQLSYNTAX=" SELECT "cnmt"."item_type", "cnmt"."to_vendor", "cnmt"."from_vendor", "cnmt"."document_number", "cnmt"."document_date", "cnmt"."description", "cnmt"."spec_section", "cnmt"."total_cost", "cnmt"."approved_changes", "cnmt"."pending_changes", "cnmt"."balance", "cnmt"."project_name", "cnmt"."to_company", "cnmt"."from_company", "proj"."company_name", "proj"."job_number", "proj"."project_number", "proj"."project_title", "cnmt"."revised_cntr_sum" FROM "cnmt", "proj", "vnmt" WHERE ( "cnmt"."project_name" = "proj"."project_name" ) and ( "proj"."company_abbrev" = "vnmt"."vendor_abbrev" ) and ( ( cnmt.project_name = 'XYZABC' ) AND ( vnmt.project_name = 'XYZABC' ) )
