Goal
This document provides instructions for creating or modifying a database alias to connect P6 Project Management, Methodology Management or Job Services to its respective database.
In P6 release 8.0 and later:
In P6 EPPM r8.0, the client application is called P6 Professional.
In P6 EPPM r8.1, the client application is called P6 Optional Client.
In P6 PPM r8.1, the client application is called P6 Professional.
If P6 r8.2 and later (PPM and EPPM), the client application is called P6 Professional.
