This document explains explains how the Java connection from P6 desktop client API application tools to the database works (Claim Digger/Schedule Analyzer, Update Baselines, XML Import/Export) as well as how to trouble-shoot the database connection. 

A user might need to change this information if Claim Digger or one of the other API applications does not launch or launches and prompts for a user name and password.

A user might also change this information if any of the following error messages occur when trying to run Claim Digger or Update Baseline:
