Send to Excel Creates Blank Spreadsheet (Doc ID 902529.1)

Purpose

This article will assist in troubleshooting issues involving the Send to Excel functionality producing a blank spreadsheet.  Along with the blank spreadsheet, the following errors may be seen in the web server diagnostic log:

CLIENT ERROR - ExcelWebDavServlet.writeXmlToStream Error creating Transformer javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: java.io.FileNotFoundException......
