Goal

This document explains how to import Early dates from Excel and have them applied after scheduling. How to import early dates from Excel. Early Dates change after importing from Excel and scheduling.

Note that although Early dates can be imported from Excel in version 5.0, this is not by design and has been fixed in version 6.0.

Early dates can be imported from Excel, but scheduling the project changes those dates to whatever dates are in the Start column.

For example:

  • When looking at the data in Project Management, that data is updated, however, the date in the Start column is not updated which should be equal for not started activities.

  • Scheduling the Project changes the Early Start back to whatever dates are listed in the Start column or the Data Date if no relationships.
