Goal

How to change the USESSION 'ExpiredSessionTimeout' value to something other than the default 2 hours for P6, for expiring records in the USESSION table. 

This timeout setting is only valid for usession records created from the Web/API which remain idle.  It is NOT valid for the P6 Desktop Client Application becuase sitting idle still generates SQL statements which update the last_active_time for the usession record.  This is not meant for configuring HTTP idle  session times, this is for the database usession records that get created on login only.  For configuring HTTP session timeouts, refer to the following document:  Doc ID 913357.1.
