Symptoms

When logging in to Project Management or Methodology Management, the following error is received:

"Unable to connect to database. Would you like to configure the database connection now?" .

Upon configuration, the following error is received:

"ORA-12505 Bad public user name or password. Database Server Error: ORA-12505: TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor."

SQLException: Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12505, TNS:listner does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor
