Symptoms

When attempting to run any internal plugin, such as Claim Digger (Schedule Comparison), Update Baseline, or import / export a Microsoft Project XML (MSP XML) or Primavera XML file, the following exceptions can occur:

• Event Code:  CNFF-3348-2
• Event Code:  CNFFC-0867-A
• Event Code:  CNFF\-0464-A
• Event Code:  CNFFC-3668-1
• Message: Could not find file \Java\_jvm\bin\java.exe.
• Error occurred during initialization of VM javalangNoClassDefFoundError: javalangObject Error running the selected application: <local drive>\<java path>\BIN\JAVA.EXE
• Type: ElnOutError
  Event Code: CNFFC-2707-C
  Description: Could not find file <local drive>\<java path>\BIN\JAVA.EXE
• Type: ElnOutError
  Event Code: CNFFC-2769-D
  Description: Could not find file <local drive>\<java path>\BIN\JAVA.EXE
• CNFFC-1474-F
• CNFFC-0838-F JRE Could Not be Found
• Event Code: CNFF\-0464-A
  Message: Could not find file \bin\java.exe
• Event Code: CNFFC-1420-F
  Message:  $JAVA_HOME\bin\java.exe
• The selected application: <PATH>\java.exe cannot be found.
• Java.exe file not found

Changes

Possible change is when an end user installs a new version of Java JRE and either the version is not compatible and/or the JAVA_HOME path needs to updated.
