Billing Status Of BILLINFO_T Is Not Updated For Errored Billing Unit (Doc ID 960319.1)

Goal

While running billing, if any billing unit/account is erroring out, in billinfo_t table corresponding record's billing_status field is not updating to 4 which is PIN_BILL_ERROR. But, in the console of bill run, account is shown as errorred out and the billing has not happened.

The issue happens for below scenarios:

1.  Mismatch in port configuration for realtime discounting

CM's pin.conf entry has an entry:

- cm em_pointer discounting ip Oracle-D4 24000

Where 24000 is the port number mentioned in the realtime pipeline.

If the account with discount on monthly fee has been billed, and if this port in CM pin.conf and pipeline is not matching, the billing will start but it will error out

2.  If eai_js is stopped while billing

a)  Stop eai_js process
b)  Run billing for accounts, where billing will fail
c)  Check the billinfo_t 's billing_status field which will not be updated to 4 - PIN_BILL_ERROR

Is this behaviour correct?
